Pack of 50 sheets of plastic wrap, which is polymer clay safe.
30cm x 40cm
Along with all it's other many uses, this makes for a great release agent for our range of lace and fabric textures. Also works for our wooden printing blocks and for shallow rubber texure sheets.
Guide to using as a release agent:-
Cut wrap to a manageable size, with allowance for clay to spread.
Cover a piece of conditioned clay with the wrap.
Place lace on top and run all 3 through a pasta machine.
Tip, with thick lace use a setting one thicker than the sheet of conditioned clay. And with fine lace one setting thinner may work well. Test which settings work best for you.
Can re-use wrap a number of times, with same colour. Wrinkles in wrap do not seem to affect the patterns of the texture.
The advantage of using the plastic wrap instead of water, or powder is that it does not change the consistency of the clay. Therefore off cuts, or failed test pieces, can be run through as many times as you like.
